Cetho Temple is one of Hindu cultural relics. Located in Karanganyar Regency, this temple has its own uniqueness. From the highest temple to Base camp climbing Mount Lawu.
Origin of the name Cetho
The name Cetho is derived from the name of the hamlet where the temple was built is Cetho. In Javanese language ' cetho ' means clear. Many objects are not genuine

One component of the temple is reliefs carved on the walls of the temple. The reliefs of Cetho's own temple depict the story of two Sudamala and Garudeya figures. This story contains the meaning of human spirit to escape calamity.
Poleng Fabric

Visitors are required to use a poleng cloth when entering the temple area. This is because Cetho temple is still used as a means of worship. The Poleng fabric is a black and white square patterned cloth. The Temple Manager will provide a cloth for each visitor.
