Upon entering the Nature Park Km 14, cool air directly hit
the pores of the skin. Surrounded by large trees lush, not unlike a cursory
other forest green. Occasional sound of birds chirping faint. Everything is
original, has not looked infrastructure attract visitors, such as other tourist
attractions.
Nature Park which is located at Km 14 Klablin village, town
of Sorong, with an area of 945.9 hectares, has a natural potential very
promising, if managed properly. Based Data Center for Conservation of Natural
Resources, West Papua, since 1981 agriculture minister designate this area as a
tourist.
Besides the natural beauty, tourist attractions also have a
camping ground. Visitors can camp, enjoy the natural atmosphere, the soft swish
of a cool breeze, birds chirping, and the fresh air.
Natural Park Km 14 also used as bird watching, there are
spots Bird. Dozens of species of birds found there. Among others : White parrot
( Cacatua galerita triton ), Red Parrot Head Black ( Lorius llory ), Blyth's hornbill
( Rhyticeros plicatus ), Kumkum ( ducuta pinon ), parrot King ( probosciger
atterimus ). Observations very well done at 6:00 a.m. - 09:00 hours or 15:00 to
18:00 Eastern Indonesia Time.
There is also no less attractive location in the tourist
park, the waterfall with a height of about 5 meters, with a flow of water large
enough and clear. Visitors can enjoy the natural atmosphere cozy, so the mood
and mind into a fresh, light, and excited.
Unfortunately, the natural potential that is so attractive,
natural attractions of this park has not been ogled by tourists, as an alternative
place for recreation, even on holidays too, tourism is still empty.
